Are your kids enjoying swimming and looking for a new challenge?

The brand new Banana Boat SwimKids Series is coming to the Channel 7 Brighton Jetty Classic this summer and it’s a perfect way to build confidence and skills for capable young swimmers aged 7-12 years old. It’s a safe, fun and rewarding experience for kids (and families).

The Banana Boat SwimKids course, and all other swims at the 7BJC are patrolled by lifeguards. The courses for the Banana Boat SwimKids series set to ensure the safest possible conditions while also improving ocean swimming skills.

A range of swims for 7 to 12 year olds

With 3 age groups and distances set to build confidence in ocean swimming you can choose the swim that’s right for you:

  • 100m swim – 7 and 8 year olds

  • 200m swim – 9 and 10 year olds

  • 300m swim – 11 and 12 year olds

Each young swimmer who participates in the Banana Boat SwimKids series at the Channel 7 Brighton Jetty Classic will receive:

  • Finishers medal
  • Silicon cap
  • Race bag with goodies
  • Banana Boat sunscreen
  • New friends
  • Improved skills and confidence

Australian Olympic swimmer, champion Ironman and Surf Lifesaving Hall of Fame member Ky Hurst is getting right behind the Banana Boat SwimKids Series to support our young swimmers. Keep your eyes peeled for Ky’s top tips and tricks all Series long.

We’re also helping the Keep Australia Beautiful Network (KAB), a national organisation working towards a litter free and sustainable Australia, by helping to educate our young Aussies on how to keep our beaches clean and also raise vital funds for important initiatives.
